I have over 1k of images from this year’s National Student Rodeo (NSR). Some have already been posted on the site and on Unsponsored’s Facebook page.

Somethings shouldn’t work but they just do. How about creating a Duo kayak from a couple of damaged creek boats that you might have lying around? Sounds pretty good, a nice little weekend project.
The kayak below was spotted at the 2015 National Student Rodeo here in the UK.
Here’s some inspiration from the UK, the home of 19th century industrial dominance – the LiquidRiot Duo kayak.
A few images from today’s event at HPP.
Part two of team Peak UK’s epic search for the ultimate paddling location. With amazing soundtrack by Burdock!! Enjoy… and yes, “it’s not as good as Hurley!!”
We’re all between swims. Jess Matheson (Dreaming of Whitewater) shares her Ohanepecosh Falls beatdown on the Ohanepecosh River in Washington, USA.
Matze’s Drop, Hellesylt Slide + Entry, Lower Rauma @ 70+ CMS and Northern Norway.
What happens when 2 groups of chargers rally around Norway together? You get one fired up crew of G.C. / Nutters sending the biggest drops you can find. Sometimes you win – & – Sometimes you loose.
Two girls, one boat, one dream…..follow Priscilla Macy and Anna Herring on a journey to pursue the future of kayaking in a progressive craft. When Steve Fisher and Anton Immler left audiences craving more in 2009, it was clear it was time to pick up the torch and chase the dream that is the duo.
A posse of the Asheville home team went out for a mission to find some good kayak sledding. Max Patch outside of Asheville turned out to be just the place.
This post has been rattling round my head for the last few months as I have debated on whether to put it out. A conversation with a couple of fellow paddlers has prompted me to make the post.

First things first the risk of being snagged or caught up in a strainer or similar is something that all paddlers need to think about and although the risk is minimal the risk still exists. Any kit that you wear has the potential of being snagged and all steps should be made to keep loops of tape, laces etc tucked away and out of danger. However I sometimes find that it is necessary or advantageous to have some pieces of kit on the outside of my PFD rather than in a pocket.
Continue readingCaptured some sick early morning shots all around Ötz valley, Plattling and Salzkammergut. Having a good time traveling with the guys while working in Munich and Passau.
Slated for hydro development related to the Enbridge pipeline, this salmon bearing river near Smithers BC is a fantastic three day adventure typically reserved for the fall.
The Wildcat Creek video has been captured with GoPro Hero 3 and 3+ cameras. Tellico peaked at 6.8 feet and 3000cfs. V8 (Microgorge) was off the chain, Reconnect was darn right ugly with that tree, and The Icing was pretty awesome at the end. Level was good but wondered if more water would have produced less porting?
