Meet the boys: Trent McCrerey and Knox Hammack. Trent and Knox are pro kayakers that won TGR’s community entry for the Tough Fun Film Series, and spent the better part of May and June on a road trip of epic proportions, chasing water levels throughout the American West. Follow their adventure in TGR’s final short film from the Tough Fun trilogy, and watch them run some of the gnarliest whitewater in this part of the world.

Continue readingThis is the Yak Horizon Drysuit it is available only in red/black. The Horizon is made from hard wearing 3-layer breathable material with Cordura re-enforcement on the knee and bum.
We received a large drysuit just after lockdown here in UK began, but despite the restrictions have managed to get some time on the water using the suit.
At 6ft 2″ with a 42″ chest, and size 10 (UK) feet the large Horizon drysuit fits well both whilst standing and probably more importantly whilst sitting in a boat. I tend to wear large drysuits or drytops from pretty much any manufacturer and the sizing here is bang on.
Continue readingContinue readingEvery year I am always so fired up for the first long boat training lap on the Green. This year I was especially fired up because normally I have to do my first lap and shake off the cobwebs just a few days before the race, this year I got to do mine a whole month before. Although since then there has hardly been any days to do more training, it has helped being able to spend more time in a long boat than I normally would get before the race. This wasn’t the Sub 4 debut run I was looking for, but pulling out of the start line for the first time gets me every time. Now only a few weeks away, let’s hope I can get some more laps and clean up the lines!
