How did you first get into kayaking? Who introduced you to the sport?

Me and a load of my mates had just moved up into scouts from the cubs. Around the same time, the troop were putting a kayaking course on. I wasn’t too keen but my mates convinced me and it turned out to be quite fun.

The WWGP 2014 went off…I was so lucky that my leg healed in time to get re-invited and compete in the sickest event in Whitewater kayaking. Can’t believe I am where I am right now walking away from two successful weeks of paddling hard in Quebec! I’m stoked to drop a quick little Go Pro edit of the highlights from my trip out here featuring: The Nielson, Basse Casi, Shawinagin, SAP, Ottawa, Mistassini, Mistassibi, and The Rouge rivers…I can’t thank Tribe Rider/Pat Cambin enough for making such a cool event happen…and all the boys who helped me rip it up out here. LP the Wolf, Marcos Gallegos, The Serrasolses Bros, The Quebec Connection, and everyone else who made this two weeks go off…Enjoy the edit. Continue reading

Kenya The Land of Adventure

Situated on the East side of Africa, Kenya was rumored to be a whitewater kayaking meca. After a short trip there last November I was very keen to go back and explore more rivers. Chris, Sim and myself had three days of exploring with one highlight being a first decent of a perfect 20 meter waterfall on the Nyamindi river.
