From the home of some of the best Fish & Chips in the world comes Whitby Wishy Washy – a tale of creek boat surfing here in the UK. Sam Ellis and Martyn Butler star in this North East epic.

This has to be the most epic start to any section of a river that I have seen. A great edit from the Red Bull Key Hole Project.
The Palm Equipment Fuse jacket has had an upgrade for 2015. The jacket is constructed from a new light weight three layer fabric and the Glideskin neoprene neck gasket has also been improved. Gone are the harlequin colours of 2014 and in is a very smart Jet grey colour scheme with aqua detailing.
The Fuse jacket is a fairly light weight number and from the couch test has excellent freedom of movement.
This a Spyderco Tasman Salt H1. The blade is a rust resistant H1 steel. This knife has lived in my PFD for months now and has been tested on/in various set up rescue situations.
Une grosse malate et un nouveau bateau! Je n’ai pas pu résister a l’appel de la vague en janvier 2015!
Voici les images de mes premiers pas en Jackson kayak! Ça va vite et ça glisse, ça glisse!!!!
Eliot, Hunt, and Kincaid on Little River Canyon around 1,500 cfs. LRC is one of the best runs around, starting with a a 30 foot double drop at the put in followed by the suicide section stacked with fun big rapids, then the upper two section ending in a short but stout hike up to the top of the canyon rim.
First and foremost there is an appropriate time to tow and not to tow. If it can be avoided it is best to do so. However YOU may choose to use a tow system to move a boat across a piece of still water. As with all things of this type it is down to the paddlers own assessment on the day and therefore at the paddlers own risk. Choosing the right kind of towing option for the right conditions is critical.
Trip leader and permit holder Alex Ransom invited an all-star cast of paddlers to join him on a winter self-support expedition of the Grand Canyon. This trip report offers a glimpse into the magic this trip of a lifetime can offer.
The days are starting to get a little longer and the sun seems to be out that little more. It won’t be long until it’s time to be out on the water with a short sleeved cag. For many years I have been using an Immersion Research cag which is simply awesome but is now getting a little long in the tooth. Last summer I decided to get a Palm Equipment Zenith short sleeved top but was simply far too late. No dealer within the UK or Palm themselves had a top left in my size. Roll on just under a year and Palm have released the 2015 version of the Zenith.
This video is a selection of amazing moments in Louise Jull’s life which show how much she loved and lived life to its fullest. Thanks to everyone for their support in making this film. We will all miss Lulu so much and I hope that people can enjoy this for years to come to remember what an amazing person she was.
Colorado teens (ages 15-19) experience the sheer power and awe that the harmony of the river has to offer. People often believe that kayakers think that they have no limits; this is false. We have limits, they are just far beyond those of the average persons. Filmed entirely in Colorado over the summer of 2014.
