The Chelan River is located in Northern Washington flowing off the east side of the Cascade range. The river cuts through a short steep dessert canyon before entering the Columbia River. American Whitewater arranged a recreational release for one weekend, once a year. For that weekend in late September The Chelan Gorge holds the perfect flow of 400 cfs and contains 5-6 class five drops back to back. Enjoy a taste of what we got to experience up there this year. Contour have recently announced the release of the new Contour Roam 3.
On the face of it little has changed. The major difference is what is going on inside. Roam have improved the level of seal protection, so the Contour Roam 3 is Roam’s first camera that doesn’t require an additional housing.

These shorts are what kicked off the production of the new Unsponsored Ts by Dewerstone. I had stumbled upon a post about Dewerstone’s campaign to raise funds to get the shorts into production via Kickstarter. I had heard/seen a fair bit about Kickstarter but this was the first time that I was motivated to invest.
