The Bomb Dry Suit from Bomber Gear

When you’re consistently pushing limits, you require a little extra armor (and then some). That’s why our high-end, 4-layer Bomb Dry Suit features reinforced shoulder panels, abrasion-resistant oxford nylon on the seat, knees, shins and elbows. And because staying dry and warm isn’t so bad either, we’ve incorporated the same highly durable Bomber Gear gaskets, our unique double-stitched, taped and patched seams and the same breathable Toray 4-ply Entrant HB fabric as what is used on the revered Bomb Dry Top. Other unique features include a hidden emergency whistle, glass bead reflective piping, a sleeve pocket with a drain, a reflective screen printed logo, 4-layer Toray socks with reinforced bottoms and a dual-adjustable overskirt with rubber closer flaps.

Also includes TiZip zippers across the shoulders for entry and in the front for relief zip. Best of all, the Bomb Dry Suit is designed in Bomber Gear’s signature Performance Cut fashion, so you know it’s made with an intimate knowledge of how paddlers sit below deck. Guaranteed to keep you dry, comfortable, and begging for more.

River a Week, #13 Drops and Duo Fun. from Liam Chambers on Vimeo.

Bit of a mix match of the Landwasser in Italy and some French rivers from our trip. Lower Guisane mega train was fun. Some playtime in the duo and some man made drops on a High Fournel. Super fun sunny boating!

The North Tyne

The North Tyne has to be one of the classic ww runs in the North East of England. The water is clean, access is pretty good and you can get down in all but the very lowest of levels. The get in is at the small village of Chollerford just a few miles North of Hexam itself. Parking can be found in a large lay by on the west side of the bridge (just over the roundabout). It’s then a short walk back over to the east side of the bridge and path down to the river.

River A Week, #12 Salty Mouth – Stanley Embankment + Stacks

Screen Shot 2013-08-31 at 21.14.58

Just a quick video edit from last weeks paddling on Stanley and a quick sea paddle. Tides were on springs and a 9.7m tide meant Stanley was good but only for a very short time before getting a little messy. Still worth a play though. Also a journey on the sea against the tide using back eddies and surfing to get round the headlands on Anglesey.

Good paddling despite there being no rainfall!

Dragorossi Fish 6.6

The Dragorossi Fish is a full on carving machine. The design is full of nice sharp rails and hard lines and plenty of rocker. In many respects the boat looks more like a surf board.
