GoPro Grip

Here are a few images of my newest GoPro grip. Full carbon shaft and a little something secret to ensure that the GoPro mount is firmly attached!

Cost was £0 as I already had the mount, glue and the cut off carbon shaft. There are a couple of options if you do want to buy a retail version.

Seems to work really well.

GoPro Kayak Mount II

Here is another GoPro Kayak Mount designed and executed by Laurie Clark. It’s a great looking professional set up. It’s been built (mainly) from bits and bobs you would find in B&Q (DIY Superstore). The main components are 40mm ABS waste pipe plus associated fittings.

Another GoPro Mount

This is a nice CNC’d mount from the guys at Mount Star.

It is set up to be attached to any normal tripod including those by Jobe and any other object by using straps or screws/bolts. A very nice and well made bit of kit.

GoPro HD 1080p

The GoPro HD camera seems to be the must have extreme sport accessory. The GoPro HD is the latest incarnation in the GoPro series. For such a small and simple looking camera it delivers stunning high-definition HD 1080p video in a very light, waterproof, robust and user-friendly package.

The GoPro HD 1080p comes in variety of flavours that contain the same camera system but a range of different mounting straps and options. The pack I purchased from Dogcam was the helmet mount package. Continue reading

Go Pro HD – Boat Mount

The Go Pro camera (or at least the mount) has definitely become the must have accessory for kayaking/canoeing helmets. You can find loads of videos on both Youtube and Vimeo showing footage shot from a helmet mount. So from time to time it’s quite nice to see shots from a different angle, such as in the image shown below.

GoPro HD 1080p

Picked up a GroPro HD 1080p yesterday (it was used for the 1st time to film the video below). It was purchased from Dogcam sport with the Unsponsored discount.
