If you have followed the site for some time you’ll know that I love to take photos. I also love to see top quality photos. These photos from Eagle Nest Photography of the Pyranha Ripper in action are superb.
After starting as a bit of a joke the Pyranha 12R is going into production. Pyranha has received enough interest from the paddling public and Pyranha dealers for the boat to become a reality.
Robin Hood Watersports have the full Waka kayaks 2018 lineup. It’s great to see them lined up with one another.

Corran Addison has recently offered his new F Bomb kayak with Hooptie outfitting. Essentially a new hull design with stripped backed outfitting that can be customised by its owner. Having paddled for over 30 years I remember outfitting boats with bit of foam and plenty of glue. I for one think that this is an excellent idea.

A great deal of outdoor equipment passes through the halls of Unsponsored HQ. Some great, some good and some not so good. As we get closer to the 25th of December it has now become a little bit of tradition (and to save me answering loads of “What should I get ….. for Christmas, they have just got into kayaking/canoeing/SUP?” type questions via email) to put together a list of gear that paddlers and general outdoors type folk might appreciate as presents at Christmas time.

Guigui Prod have been around for some time producing some of the best custom playboats available. Guigui Prod has released a new composite creek boat named the Shinobi. The design of the hull has come about through the collaboration of Guigui Prod and the Easy Kayak Team.
