Bob Slee, Palm’s technical director is retiring and leaving Palm after 32 years with the company.
Bob helped Andy start Palm; building their first kayaks together. Bob instilled the ethos of ‘can make; will make; make it better’ as our technical director. Never more happy than in his overalls with an angle grinder in hand, he is responsible for Palm having a purpose-built factory with its own rotomoulding oven – all built by Bob.
Continue readingUnleashed – Stage 1 presented by Jackson Kayak went down in the Unleashed Big Trick format, meaning that the athletes were split into two heats, each heat was given a two-hour session.
Huge tricks where thrown and some insane wipe outs where had. The athletes were judged on their top three tricks, scoring combo tricks as one, and rewarding air, difficulty and style in order to determine a winner.
