I have had the GoPro Hero 3 plus Black Edition since October 2013 and it has been used on almost a weekly basis along side my Hero 3 Black Edition.

After reading through some old threads on liquid latex, I found some good reviews on the stuff but no pictures of how people got on, so I thought I’d share with you the pics of my repaired spray deck. Time for a little spray deck modification.
My spray deck had always been fairly loose fitting so I could get it off easier in a panic, but now as my confidence has built up, I wanted a tighter fitting deck to keep me drier in pushier water or waves.
More Pyranha Team action, but this time from the Gene 17 Val Sesia river festival. Continue reading
Since owning a shiny set of new custom made glass VE paddles I have found them to be an incredible piece of kit. I chose them with a cranked carbon shaft and as splits. The paddles have been put to the real test in Kenya’s steep creaks for the last five weeks. Before purchasing my VE paddles I heard a few people raving about them but I didn’t understand the fuss until I tried them for myself. After borrowing a set I initially took a liking to them and decided to buy a set for myself as splits so I could put the paddles in my boat for the flights and avoid any hassle with baggage getting separated or damaged.
A superb edit from this years Morriston River Race by Martyn Butler.
The 3rd annual Morriston River Race came about this May and it did not disappoint. Here’s a short edit from the race which I managed to film in between racing along with the help of Sam and Ryan.
The Cassian river is a 9.5km section with a 4% drop profile. It is definitely one of the best creek you can find around Quebec. When you make the first stroke on Cassian Lake, you know you’re about to run approximately 60 quality Class IV-V rapids. The first kilometers are the steepest of the run. Then, you enter in an awesome shiny granite ”slides section” to finally paddle the last kilometers stretch of endless class IV-IV+ rapids to end up in the Jacques-Cartier river. Continue reading
A few months back I got a set of Three Waves nose clips from Phil at Unsponsored. I wouldn’t usually get excited about something like a set of nose clips but I thought these were worth a few words.
Firstly it’s worth mentioning that I have always worn nose clips. I hate not having them on when I go over, especially when playboating. I’ve also tried most makes and to be honest they are all pretty much the same.
