Continue readingThe Panther section of the Kaweah, located just upstream of the Hospital Rock section is one of the best day runs in Cali. It’s about a 3 mile hike up but then once you are on the water it’s a few hours of sick boulder gardens, and tons of boofs and slides. By far one of my favorite day runs out there, and I highly recommend getting it if you ever have the chance!

Continue readingOne of the greatest runs in the world without a doubt is West Cherry in California. It not only has one of the most famous big slides, Graceland. But it also has so much epic whitewater and the most amazing scenery. Since Michael Ferraro and myself were going to be the first people into the ultra classic this year, we decided to do a one day. The reason being is to keep our boats lighter incase water levels were higher than we expected. Once we finally got to the river after the hike it ended up being high water, but nothing we couldn’t handle. It ended up being a huge day of hiking, kayaking, and just enjoying one of the greatest places to go with a boat.
