Both the GoPro App and camera firmware have been updated today. So what do you get?
A slicker interface is probably the most noteable difference along with the ability to transfer/view/review files on your smart phone!
We have decided to take a closer look at GoPro Hero 3 Micro SD Recording Times I have had a GoPro Hero 3 Silver and Black editions for almost a year. Over that time I have been keeping a log and have recorded the approximate recording time achieved from full battery charges and with particular SD cards.
I’ve been using both the OEM GoPro and Wasabi batteries in my GoPro 3 with great success. However this triple pack (at under £15) from Duragadget are also doing really well. Reviews from across the net are confirming my findings that they are definitely up to the job and are superb value.
I also have a GoPro battery BacPac in for test, to date this is working really well. I don’t like the additional weight when wearing the unit on my helmet, but when it’s on the boat or tripod it is spot on.
After a couple of hours of paddling today I spied my HF Weasel Throwbag in the back of the car and had an idea. What if I attached my GoPro to the bag, what kind of footage could I get?

The UK distributers of Contour products (Ultra Sport Europe) kindly agreed to send me one of the new Contour + 2 cameras for test.
I receive a couple of emails each day asking about the GoPro setup that I currently have running, so here is an update.
