What SD Card For The GoPro Hero7 Series? It super important that you use the best memory cards possible with your GoPro camera whether it’s the GoPro Hero7, Hero6, Hero5 or indeed any of the GoPro cameras currently available. The following SD micro memory cards are approved for use in the GoPro Hero7 Black, Silver and White editions by GoPro themselves.
All of the cards listed below are fast and you’ll need fast and reliable if you are shooting at high resolutions. We are currently running the Lexar, Sandisk Extreme and Samsung EVO cards in our GoPro Hero7.
Replacement parts are available for all of the GoPro range but I prefer to try and prevent any damage particularly when the camera and case are in my bag. One of easiest parts to damage is the lens of both the camera itself and the lens area on waterproof case. Damage to either of these will ruin footage.
[UPDATE: GoPro have released the Hero6 black edition, find out more here.]
Picking the right GoPro for your needs is forever getting a little more challenging. The range is expanding/changing on an annual basis. At the moment GoPro have three slightly different spec’d cameras based on the GoPro Hero 3 and GoPro Hero 3 Plus platform.
At the top of the range is the GoPro Black 3+, closey followed by the Silver 3+ and then finally the White 3 which has been carried over from last years range. There is no GoPro Hero 3 Plus White edition at this moment in time.
Both the GoPro App and camera firmware have been updated today. So what do you get?
A slicker interface is probably the most noteable difference along with the ability to transfer/view/review files on your smart phone!
