Knox Hammack is one of paddlers I follow on Vimeo. The edits he produces are superb and this one from the World Class Academy is no exception.

Friends can’t go kayaking? Don’t worry, they will still know how cool you looked. I’ve been working the past couple weeks trying to dial in an elevated mount system for my 9R. The goal being do not spend more than $20. I made this mount out a crutch and old Pyranha hardware. I took it out for a test run this weekend on my backyard run and here are the results. Getting close to dialed!
Big rivers and first descents – Siberia looks like an awesome place to paddle. The guys from Two Blades Adventures took full advantage on this trip.
In summer 2014 we managed to get to one of the most remote rivers in Sayan Mountains in Siberia/Russia. Here is the RAW GoPro video from some of the major rapids of the river including the first descent of the 15m waterfall.
[UPDATE: GoPro have released the 5 series of POV action cameras including the Hero 5 Black Edition and the Session 5.]
We’ve known about this for a short while but couldn’t say anything – Today GoPro announced the launched the new Hero4 session. We have one here at Unsponsored for review!
Here is everything you need to know about the new 2015 GoPro Hero4 Session.
The Session marks a shift from the GoPro format that we have been used to since its first arrival many years ago. The Session is a much smaller format and is not dependent on a housing for its 10m (33ft) waterproofing. Gone are the two buttons (only one now) and in is a smart dual microphone system designed for better sound pickup in even the harshest of conditions.
A superb side by side look at the top 4 runs at this year’s North Fork Championship IV Elite Division. A great use of the GoPro suite of cameras.

Playing on Sorba slides, Italy. Was messing around as it was our 3rd time down, went with a cross-deck boof, missed the boof stroke unfortunately and pencilled it and then went round a few times before getting spat out. Playboating skills coming into play a bit here.
Replacement parts are available for all of the GoPro range but I prefer to try and prevent any damage particularly when the camera and case are in my bag. One of easiest parts to damage is the lens of both the camera itself and the lens area on waterproof case. Damage to either of these will ruin footage.
We have a Badfish SUP lined up for review at Unsponsored HQ, we’ll be hitting some of the UK’s whitewater hotspots during the monsoon season this summer. In the meantime here is a great edit – Badfish SUP GoPro Mountain Games.
GoPro are launching a new camera this week. Namely the GoPro Hero+, in simple terms it is a GoPro Hero with the addition of a LCD touch screen, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a few performance tweaks.
The GoPro Hero+ LCD will officially go on sale this Sunday (Sunday 7th June 2015) at $299 (US) and £249 in the UK. That’s double the cost of the Hero.
Alex Parsons gives us a run down of what he did last year.
Tough to get out boating now thanks to work! but made the most of it!
Given the number of GoPro related posts on this site it is pretty obvious that I am a huge GoPro fan and always have a couple of cameras on the go.
My latest camera, purchased just after release, is a GoPro Hero 4 black edition. Lats week I noticed that the silver fascia of the camera was cracked. The camera is only used in its housing and I can’t recall ever dropping the camera.
