Today I learnt about Enduro with a run around the 45KM route of the Ard Rock Enduro 2017.

We love tech here at Unsponsored HQ and when we can combine that love with the great outdoors it gives us a warm glow inside.
The GPS of choice up until very recently was a Garmin Foretrex 401 (as favoured by many members of the armed forces). It did its job well but I didn’t use a great deal of its features apart from getting a GPS location fix when things got a bit sticky. Although it did what I needed it to do technology has moved on and it’s always great to have an excuse to upgrade some tech.
After a couple of recommendations a Suunto Ambit 3 Peak was purchased.
We are big fans of Osprey gear at Unsponsored HQ. So when a new bag was required for mountain bike duties the Osprey website was consulted.
15 litres or there about seems to be the right kind of size for the bulk of riding that we do. Plenty of room for the essentials but not too much room that you end up filling because you can. The Osprey Zealot appeared to fit the bill nicely.
This is a MTB edit from Hafjell Norway to show off the new Summer 2015 collection from Sweet Protection.
I am a huge fan of Sweet Protection and have tested the Bushwhacker MTB helmet to destruction! In this edit Tracy Moseley outlines the key features that she likes in the Bushwhacker. As this is the new 2015 version the adjustment system relies an Occigrip dial rather than the adjustment system seen previously. Will this be seen in future whitewater helmet line ups?
If it is, you heard it here first right here on Unsponsored.
Just in for review is a big pile of Sweet Protection mountain biking kit including the new Bushwacker helmet.
Sweet uses the same computer technology used in its premium whitewater and snowsports helmets to produce the new Bushwacker. Superb protection cover and digitally modelled air flow has resulted in a very fine and uniquely designed helmet.
