A couple of weeks back I spent three days at Ard Rock Enduro 2023 in the Yorkshire Dales here in the UK. It was three days on the hillside taking photographs.
For those who don’t know the Ard Rock is the UK’s leading MTB event. The event includes world class riding, the UK’s biggest outdoor mountain bike expo, factory support, onsite camping, pump track, airbag, demo loops, kids skills track, street food, music and more.
Thousands of people attend Ard Rock each year and 2023 was no different. The event took place a couple of weeks earlier the usual but still managed to hit the bad weather. Although Friday was glorious, Saturday and Sunday represented some challenges in the form of wind and rain for both riders and photographers.
You will be able to tell straight away which images were taken on which day.
Three days on the hill was followed by three days processing and upload photographs. You can find 1000s of my other images on Roots and Rain along with race results.
