Yak Horizon Drysuit – First Look

We have one of Yak’s newest pieces of dry wear in for review at Unsponsored.

This is the Yak Horizon Drysuit. Available only in red/black the Horizon is made from hard wearing 3-layer breathable material with Cordura re-enforcement on the knee and bum.

The drysuit comes equipped with a double neck seal. This is made up from a high quality inner latex gasket and then a neoprene outer gasket.

Tyne Tour 2019

I have taken around 2k images on the North Tyne today, or #thetynebezi as its now know. At 1.84 on the gauge the river was running well following rain last night and release from Kiedler water. The images were taken using a professional full frame camera. The images posted below are low resolution.

End Of An Era At Palm

Bob Slee, Palm’s technical director is retiring and leaving Palm after 32 years with the company.

Bob helped Andy start Palm; building their first kayaks together. Bob instilled the ethos of ‘can make; will make; make it better’ as our technical director. Never more happy than in his overalls with an angle grinder in hand, he is responsible for Palm having a purpose-built factory with its own rotomoulding oven – all built by Bob.
